Default check eng light ON, code reader shows nothing on 95RRC

I have a check engine light on my dash. Code reader under the passengers seat of my 95RRC shows nothing. Just had the rear seal replaced on the 4.2 and some dash work done (new blower switch) so the console was removed. Is there a wire cut or a connector not connected under the console or under the pass seat or something? What powers the display - just the ECU? no fuse? Would liek to know what my code is!

It is definately the check enginer YELLOW light on the dash, I know where this baby is! Been on a few times since I had the vehicle. I guess simple things to check are the connections. A code typically pops with o2 sensors (so I will check those connections since they had to be disconnected to get the y pipe down and the gearbox out for the main seal), etc. Just not sure why the LED display is not lighting up.....

Might be a MAF sensor issue, not sure. How are the connections on the LED Display? Might be a break in a connection somewhere.

may be just an errant light/fault. go ahead and reset the light and see if it pops back on.

It may not be a code at all, for one part it could've/would've put the fuel system into open loop, and not allow the engine to run right. But.....

It may have been a wire that came disconnected, look at a wiring diagram that shows every wire that goes to the computer and trace them to the components for a break or loose connection. It would be a long task, but at least you'll know. It could be the computer itself, but I have no idea how to test these Land Rover pre OBD II computers.
