Default clicking noise after closing doors?

does anyones RRC make that sound after clos'n the doors? i have not used or started my RRC for a wk untell last night. i went to get some stuff out of my cargo area and the lights turned on for 5 min or so. later (15min) i opened the back right door and i noticed my lights did not go on, so i tried the right front door and the light still did not turn on. i still had the back top cargo open (i know after 5 min or so when the top cargo stays open the lights will turn off, (default?). then i closed the cargo door, back/front right doors and then my wife and i heard a click click click alot of times (it always had made a click noise in the past but not this much). so i went to the drivers side and opened the door, the light turned on and i closed it and opened the back door and the lights work. i jumped in and started the RRC up because i thought maybe i left a light on or somthing & the battery was low. the RRC started up great, right away!! i know from my dads and my RRC they kind of have a mind of their own like when i put it into reverse sometimes all the doors will decide to lock or unlock. just wonder'n if anyones RRC does that?

Well, my RRC, what is does, is when I open a door, the light will come on and stay on for a limited amount of time, and even if I open more doors after that, the light will remain off. Then I go and close all doors, and the light will go on and then dim off. Now in your case, it could be a relay clicking, I can here mine click when the light comes on, and turns off.

Yours might have a bad ground or connection at teh relay, not exactly sure.

i never really noticed how the lights work (turn off after 5 min's or so). so it sounds like this is a normal sound. i emailed my dad and he told me the samething. i might just look at the relay if it makes alot of click'n at once again. good sign, i do not want to buy any more parts at this time! i am sav'n $$$$ for some fun parts (mod parts to my RRC "bertha").
