Default Clunking noise

I just bought a 1995 country lwb and i just got it running today. When i took it for a spin everything sounded ok but when i drove it a good distance i heard a clunk noise coming from underneath. It was only when i was above 15mph and below about 45 and it was more prevalent when slowing down and turning to the right. In fact it almost went away when i turned left. It was regular and was in phase with the turning of the wheels. My thoughts where a loose drive shaft or something in the axles. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark

The knock/cluck sounds like your CV (constant velocity) joints are on the way out. It's time to book the vehicle in to get it fixed before they fail completely.

Sounded like something that happened to my truck earlier Thursday night on the freeway.

Turned out to be just a crap load of ice, stuck to all four wheels....scraped it all off at a truck stop. Problem solved right there.
