I have a code 69 gearswitch... I plan on trying to check it out tomorrow or whenever...it has been on forever... the truck will start in any gear position... I know/think it is on the front drivers side of the tranny, how hard is the switch to get to? Can the switch be cleaned or is it a throw away and replace with new? what are my options...I just saw one listed for $60 on goldcoast rovers, but hate to blow the cash when I might be able to get around it... in the end, the starting in gear doesn't bother me, but I would like to be able to clear up the code...
oh and the reverse lights work, I don't know if that is relative...just in case |
