Default Compilation of Engine Codes?

Is there a list of engine codes available? If not, is there any interest in starting a compilation? I have a few in the workshop manual that came with the truck and could start the list.

This oughta help ya out, just doing a search on Google, you can find this same list, and maybe we outhta make this a sticky thread.

But just to clarify, these codes are given assumptions of what the computer has at fault according to it. So these codes will be like a starting ground for a MIL light coming on.

* The fault code table.
12 Start of diagnosis.
14 Engine coolant temperature sensor - low voltage
15 Engine coolant temperature sensor - high voltage
16 Fuel temperature sensor - voltage low
17 Fuel temperature sensor - voltage high
19 Engine speed (RPM) sensor - incorrect signal
21 Accelerator pedal position sensor - voltage high
23 Accelerator pedal position sensor - incorrect idle speed
24 Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) - no signal
31 Engine speed (RPM) sensor - no signal
34 Injection timing control - out of range
37 Brake pedal position (BPP) switch - incorrect signal
39 Immobilizer - activated
41 Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor , TC boost pressure - voltage low
42 Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor , TC boost pressure - voltage high
43 Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor , TC boost pressure - invalid signal
44 Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor , TC boost pressure - incorrect signal
48 Battery supply voltage - low
49 Glow plug control - circuit malfunction
54 Fuel shutoff solenoid - circuit malfunction
55 Engine control module (ECM) - defective
61 Fuel quantity adjuster position sensor - incorrect signal
64 Fuel quantity adjustment control - malfunction
65 Engine control module (ECM) - overheating
73 Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor - voltage low
74 Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor - voltage high
81 Injector needle lift sensor - circuit malfunction
82 Injector needle lift sensor - incorrect signal
83 Immobilizer control module - programming
84 Immobilizer control module - no signal
85 Immobilizer control module - incorrect signal
87 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor - voltage high
88 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor - voltage low
89 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor - signal
91 Cruise control - signal low
92 Cruise control - signal high
95 Engine control module (ECM) - malfunction
96 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) solenoid - voltage low
97 Fuel injection pump - adaptation failure
