Default continuous power to 12v cigarette lighter

on my 95 LWB, Ignition to on position, power comes up on cigarette lighter and when I start the car, the power cuts off and re-powers again. Is there a way I can re-wire so it has continuous power even if the ignition is off?

Sure.
Run a wire to the battery.
Be sure to put an inline fuse on it.
Or you could look for 12v live under the dash. I think personally it would be easier to run a wire to the battery. But whatever make sure you fuse it.

Ditto on that, I might do the same, not that my outlet is not working, but use it so that it doesn't require me to insert and turn the key.

Just be careful as will I, that what ever you plug in there won't drain your battery if you use anything without the engine running.

that soulds like a good idea! what is the easiest way to change the bulb on the front lighter ('93 LWB)? can i pull it out of the dash or do i have to take off the "shell" next to the radio?
