Default couple of re-assembly questions

attached is a picture of a vaccuum hose under the dash on the driver side. there is a second, larger diameter vacuum hose which connects to the brake switch. this narrower diameter tube is not connected to anything - am wondering what its supposed to do. connect to some cruise control component? connect to heater? the tube goes through the firewall about 5 inches higher up than the larger diameter tube. it runs over the wheel arch to the accumulator behind the driver side headlight. anyone know what this is supposed to hook up to under the dash. vehicle is 1991 classic.

Also if anyone can help me ID these wires. I thought i did a good enough job labelling when i dis-assembled, but i have questions about these. The first comes off the wiring bundle on the passenger side of dash. Has green and black wires and you can see the type of connector. I labelled it as 'unknown: not connected' when i disassembled, but if anyone knows its supposed to go to something let me know - i dont want to have to take apart the dash again.

Then there are these single wire white connectors. They are in the bundle for the driver's switch panel (the one with the cruise, interior light, fog lamps, and heated windscreen switches). I have reconnected all the switches and have found i have these two little white connectors left over. Does anyone know what they connect to.

Finally, i'll share something neat i figured out. Many may already know this, but i didn't. Theres a little white button shaped thing under the steering wheel. you have to remove the wheel and the spiral connector to get at it. this is a fiber optic lighting system for the turn signal and the windshield wiper stalk. i replaced the bulb inside it and now these control stalks illuminate when the lights are on. so cool.

that vacuum line conects to the cruise control cut off switch located just below the brake ligth switch on the brake pedal. the terminals may be for the stick shift (outside us) model onthe clutch pedal or some other option. if you are sure they were not connected to anything dont worry about it.

yeah i see them, according to the shop manual some 1990 and newer models were supposed to have the check engine light next to heater controls, but many still have it in the cluster, I would test to see if they have power and under which conditions. if nothing hapens I would not worry, I really dont have much more on the manual.

cool. hey on that vacuum line. i found the cruise control vacuum line connecting to a switch on the breake pedal arm. there are two switches. i assume top one is brake light switch, bottom one is the cruise control brake switch/vent. there is a larger diameter vacuum hose connected to that cruise control brake switch. so i think thats the one you were talking about. i still do not know what the smaller diameter vacuum hose connects to.

next time you are under dash of your classic, see if you have a second vacuum hose and if you can tell where it goes for me? i'd appreciate it.

My truck has had all the heat and a/c pulled out, and replaced with a small aftermarket heater(p.o.), so all the ancilliary junk was ripped out too...with that being said, I haven't seen that small line on mine, so it very well could be something with the heat/ a/c
