Question Cracked Front Differential Cover

Does any one have any ideas on how to repair a cracked front diff cover? Looks like the 95 LWB I picked up a few weeks ago (and I do love it) must have rammed something hard enough to create a small crack on it's bottom "lip," and it is dripping gear oil. If I have to replace the cover, anyone know of a good deal on one? Thanks!

We can order you a replacement weld on cover in either stock form or HD.

Checkout www.get-rhino.com or give me a ring 904-260-3373.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the replies. My mechanic has pulled it off and is going to weld it. (I wasn't sure it would hold a weld and was afraid I would have to swing for a remanufactured housing.) So good news. Thanks!

It is cheap / thin metal. Weld it up and then seriously consider a differential guard if you intend to go offroad.
