And, for everybody else, yes, I know I have a brake fluid leak, it seeps out around the seals between the reservoir and the master cylinder...its more of an annoyance than anything, the only bad thing is that brake fluid removes paint - as evidenced by the bubbling paint on the vacuum booster.

X2......I have a hunter edition ..No ABS...And I love it!!!! I can also send more pics if needed.......... On mine I noticed I have the ABS style caliper... So you should be fine!!! I believe the 88-90 models have the same master cyl as me!

Its supposed to be such a great system. It stayed on again today so i kicked the seat under me and it went off......so ill change the relay asap. And i also got some tips on rebuilding the pump a little so im gonna tackle that this weekend along with the seal on my LT230.And i would like more pics, the more points of reference the better.
Im still not sure about how the computer will react to the ABS,pump ect being cut out.Maybe just a constant ABS light? Not real sure. But i WILL make it work
Keep the input coming. And i didnt find any restrictions on removal of the ABS in Georgia.

I must have the ABS style calipers as well??? I bought pads at NAPA cause I was in a hurry, I called them first and told the counter guy a 92 model, no ABS and he said, "well we only show an ABS style available on the front for 92's" - the rears are all the same, so I took my old pads down with me when I went to get them, looked the exact same to me, so I installed them.

Knock on wood, no squealing yet, I used plenty of the anti squeal goo on the back of them.

So here is the 64,000 dollar question, do 92 base models/hunters have abs hubs or not - cause the axles are slightly differnent lenght between abs and non-abs?

The only reason I ask this is that all 24 spline axles are the same length as the ABS 10 splines, BUT if you have non-abs 10 splines, then you have to swap hubs as well if you want to convert to 24 spline (at least stock 24 spline). I guess its not that big of a deal, but just one more thing you have to find or pay for....

I know you have to change out hubs when you go to 24.....but I didn't think it was length!!!!! No you have me curious!

So i can change too 24 spline after i change the ABS by getting hub assemblys from a "newer" classic?I was going to go through ECR to get a HD axle upgrade to get rid of the 10 spline.I want this ABS swap out to be no ABS parts at all.So ill have to replace the axles and hubs as well?I thought the only ABS add on to the axles was the sensors? So why are the axles different? They do have different part numbers.

I got some more research to do......

If you have ABS hubs, you will want to keep them. Yeah, I think its the length of the axles - its only a slight difference, but its taken up in the hub which is slightly wider for an ABS than a non-ABS (I think). So not all 10 splines are the same, and hence not all hubs that came on a 10 spline truck are compatible with 24 spline axles (which are all the ABs length)- at least this is the way I thought it was, if somebody knows better, please post and clarify.
