Do a little reading online. My first search came up with a site frome the UK. Apparently they are very good of road, not so good on road. Bias plied. This guy got such good traction, he fragmented his rear diff.

wow... so he destroyed his rear diff cuz thier such good tires? haha. Yeah i would fiqure that but i wouldnt want to ruin 300 dollar (each) tires on the street. Ill just stick with the classic BFgoods muds. Once i get new car though im definatley throwing some jungles on my rover.

I don't believe they are DOT approved for use in the US. So between the fact that they would not be legal for road use, that also makes them extremely difficult to find... therefore driving the cost way up if you do find them.

They are DOT approved. I just bought some Goodyear Duratreks and they were around the same price as the Simexs, so they are not particularly expensive. Any tyre has its strengths and weaknesses, it all depends on what driving you intend to do.
