I can't say I have, then of course, I haven't done any brake work to my RRC yet. But to be specific what does EBC stand for?

They're fine- use anti-squeal stuff on the backs of them and break them in properly.

They make good stuff, good quality. Haven't used them on any of the Rovers but have used them on a couple cars with good results. Definately no complaints here, but like Steve said use plenty of brake grease(anti-squeal) on the backs.

okay since the subject of breaking in you new BRAKES was brought up .. what is the proper way of going about it.. the last set of pads I have are Lockheeds and man they sing like merman who’s nuts got cut off.. okay maybe not , but that’s how annoying it sounds.. I have sprayed the permatex anti squeal on the back of the pads 2 times. chamfered the pads corners but it’s still came back after a while. On the very 1rst few miles of the pads I took it easy for about 20 miles.. Is there a better way of doing this…

Makes me wonder if your rotors need to be hit with a non-directional scuffing. I've had great luck with Lockheeds- that's what is on about 1/3 of all the Rovers from the factory... there are two other suppliers too.
