Angry Electrical gremlin strikes again

After replacing the AC compressor anf the Rec/Drier/Filter I reattatch the ground that snugs into the Receiver Drier Filter bracket..snug everything one last time.. and crank it up to see if the compressor will kick on and off. The 90 RRC ran for about a minute before starting to stumble at idle , I caught a whiff of some very rich smelling exh.. and the Rover eventually died. It would not restart. I looked at the onboard display for any codes but it was blank.. I slid the computer out from the pass seat and disconnected the batt and pulled the connection to the EFI puter and waited a min and reconnected everything.. tried to start..nadda.. it turns over.. but it doesnt start.. I checked fuses. Check the coil.. all fine.. I jiggled the connection to the EFI box and a code flashed for a min, then nothing.. jiggled again..a small flash.. then nothing.. wouldnt show a code the third time.. and it sits dead .. will turn over with vigor.. and I got spark.. but no show.. ? What gives? One of the relays under the pass seat was making a racket.. not the tall green .. one of the bosch 30 amps next to it.. I swapped it with its twin next to it, and no avail.. still buzzed.. Its driven fine for months and was just driven 2 hours before this occurred.

What relay. Can you give us a location?
So you got spark for sure.
And you have fuel for sure.
And you checked all the fuses. Did you check ALL the fuses? For sure.

I'll try to find it on the manual when I get home.

The bottom row 5 from the left fuse was blown and continues to blow..

This relay was hot and i noticed these wires smoking.. from under the pass seat.. it was melted all the way up the wire bundle ..you can see the wire colors in the pic..purple with a stripe, purple, green , black and a yellow if I remember correctly.. dunno exactly what relay this is or where the wires go other than into the dash.. I also popped off a fuel line at the filter and tried to crank to see fuel flow.. nothing..Any help is appreciated..
