What is the setup for the stock center muffler heat shield, to protect the floor?? Are there aftermarket units avaliable?? I recently had a hole in the top of the center muffler, and guess what, the carpet mat (foam or rubber mat) under the rear floor carpet melts, smokes and smells really bad. Is there a solution for this potential "hot problem"?? ![]() |

Why not replace the muffler at a local Midas shop? I have a flowmaster muffler and a straight pipe in the rear section and it's really not that loud. Good luck, John C. |
