In an earlier post, I described how my factory stereo mysteriously stopped working and nothing I did made it work.
Well, after troubleshooting the radio wiring I find that fuses 3 and 6 in the main box do not have power; fuse 3 is the radio/CD changer/map lights fuse, and fuse 6 is the seat heater/cigar lighter fuse. None of these items work now. (they used to!) How is it possible the fuse box itself is not receiving 12v to theses terminals?!!? Shorted wire? Grounded wire? Fusible link? Relay? I guess my head unit is still good after all (I hope)! Rick |
