Fluctuating Coolant - Page 2 - Land Rovers Only

my coolant was doing the exact thing about 6 months ago when i first got my rover... i changed out the thermostat and that fixed my problem

Thanks, but mine was two blown headgaskets, a cracked exhaust valve, bad cam, lifters,a stretched timing chain and twenty years worth of wear.

I would have preferred the thermostat though.
