Default Found one!

I found a RRC i'm interested in buying. I do have a couple of questions:

Are head gaskets a serious issue with these?

What is the normal operating temperature (i.e. temp gauge halfway between
H and C or a little toward C.)

Any special concerns? 125K on the clock. 3.9L '95 county.

Thanx!

Normal for my truck is a needle width to the cold side of middle. 152k on mine and as far as I can tell from the records the previous owner left I'm still on the original head gaskets. It seems that a fair amount of people do have issues with them though.

Head gaskets are definately a problem. You will replace them at some point.

take a look if the bottom row of head bolts are missing. if so youre in luck, it should then have the newer composit gaskets in it. there were more problems with the 4.2
