Hello,
The time has come to change my belts on my 1991 RR classic! I have purchased the 4 belts & the task looks fairly straight forward! Just wondering has anyone out there done this before, have any tips. What is the recommended way of checking the correct tension on the belts after installed? All tips, thoughts are welcome, thanks, Andy ![]() |

As a rule you should see 4-6 mm play up/down motion between pulleys on each belt.

It's pretty easy. You'll do fine.
Can't think of any tips except becareful what you pry against when you are getting leverage for the tightening of the belts. |
