Well, I was having little buzzin feel and sound around 59-63MPH and found out malfunction front transfer case. Worst thing is, it is not covered under warranty.
So, I assume there are two transfer cases on Classic 95 RR LWB? What could cause the transfer case to go bad? |

Age, mileage, low fluid....ummmmm abuse.
Lots of things cause them to fail. I hope mine never does. |

Well, it is 95, 79k miles, fluid level is perfect, ummm no abuse. No off roading, owned by one lady owner before me. Lots of things cause them to fail. Like what? My mechanic is puzzled since he does not see the front ones going bad. |

Did you check the front drive shaft u-joints? It couldn't hurt to remove it and then see if the noise goes away.

I'm still a little confused at what has failed.
