Default Fuel lines need replacing

My fuel lines that run from the filter to the rail and the return to the tank are rusting out and need replacing. Rover's North has them but with oversized shipping it will be about $300!

Can I make my own???? And what would I need?

thanks!

What size is the fuel line??? Is it 3/8"?
Can I use SS braided hose, SS tubing, or aluminum tubing?
Which is safest and legal?

Thanks for the suggestion Funrover... I'm looking in to that also! Just want to find out my options.

I used aluminum tubing to replace the lines on my '89. The aluminum is nice because it easily bends into place. I think I used 3/8" tubing. You can get rolls from Summit Racing.

Finally got to replace the lines. I used 5/16" aluminum from Summit. The 3/8" was too big. And it did bend nicely into place.
