I'm finally getting around to installing new fuel lines and want to install a pressure guage also. Is there any reason not to install it in the engine bay??? I was planning on putting it between the feed line and the fuel rail.
Thanks!

My only thought is that this is one real big scourse for a leak in the future.
Fuel pressure is not some we ever check and that being the case, why not set up your fuel system so you can hook a guage to the lines when there is a problem. Mike |

In line before the filter is easier to get to. I bought a nicer fuel pressure tester with the valve type fitting and it had the fittings to bolt into the rover without any mods. In fact I always end up leaving the fittings in whichever rover Ive most recently tested and then take it out next time I get the fuel filter! Not sure if the early ones are different though. Works in my 89 and 92 RRC. Gordo
