i was wondering how the fuel pressure regulator works and if it is my problem.. after cranking and cranking my 90 RR finally starts, in fact it cranks so much i have to replace the starter, anyways it has a new fuel pump and filter, nothing changed. is there a bung on the fuel rail on the 90's fuel rail to check pressure, if not how do you check pressure? thanks for any input...

Might wanna check the fuel injectors. See if they pulse correctly. Also check your ignition system for any flaws. My friend ended up replacing a perfectly good Fuel Pressure Reg. and did nothing to improve his no-start problem. Very rarely do these things fail on ya.
Also refer a manual for help. Good luck man! ![]()
