There are two relays under the passenger seat one of which is a fuel pump relay. Everytime someone's foot kicks the underside of the seat the relay shorts and blows the fuel pump fuse. Both relays look like they have been taken apart and put back together. My question is what does the other relay do, and are they the same type of relay. Wanted to replace both of them at the same time. |

I found the answer. The other one is the "main relay". They are the same exact relay, available from Autozone, the guy behind the counter has to be able to match the schematic on the side of it since the part numbers don't match. $ 1.50. Or you could get the same relay from Atlantic British for $ 21.95. Side note: the fuel pump relay is electrically hot even with the ignition off, ask me how I know !
