at some point it will break . . . and I will ATTEMPT to fix it!!

Default got a lump idle???

yup, rather lumpy right now, stillrunning 17+mpg? Is there an Idle air control sensor??

Taking a trip to Cali in a week, is it serious??

Any help is help at this point? Thanks in advance

Idle Air Control Valve...see here: Range Rover Classic Air Idler Valves

Take it out and clean it and the seat it sets in.
