Default Great find!

A friend of mine just found me a new donor. A 1990 RRC for $300.00! It's even my favorite Rover color. I don't know the exact name, but it's a kind of forest green. The same color as Bleed Green RRC's. The interior is trash and the frame looks sketchy, but all the body panels are mostly straight and the paint is shiny! I plan on re-skinning mine using all these panels and stealing some other parts. I was in need of a radiator and ended up with a whole truck. Supposedly this thing runs too. I'll post pics soon.

The only RRC ever done in Epsom green was the 1995 SWB "Classic" and perhaps a handful of 1995 LWB's. The only greens for 1990 were Eastnor (pea green) and Ardennes (traditional darker green).

Thanks Paul, I believe it's the Ardennes green. Sorry again about the radiator, I just couldn't pass up this deal. I'm sure I'll be needing something else soon. I still haven't installed the swivel ball I bought from you a couple of months ago. I'm thinking about either sending a couple out to be redrilled for castor correction of figuring the castor and doing it myself. When money gets better, I plan to lift it a couple more inches and put the free 35" tires I got from a friend on it. All I have to do is buy some 15" steelies and new springs....free tires...right...

I'd love to, but this thing is still too unreliable to do any wheeling. Maybe if I get it sorted this week. I plan on putting the "Y" pipe from the donor on it this week. Mine has hollow cats on it. Then I have to try to figure out my super rich problem. Maybe the O2 sensors in the "Y" pipe work better that ones in my truck. I just put the radiator and vacuum advance pod from the donor in tonight. I'm really psyched, this thing has all sorts of good parts on it.

wow only 300 bucks? thats a great price. I found a rangie in my area for 500 with a snapped back axle, the guy was firm on the 500 dollar price and i only needed a few things so i left it...shoulda taken it though.

I stripped the body panels off it and it was a total rot-box underneath. I'll get some pics up as soon as this rain stops...
