has anyone replaced the Borg warner tranfer case with a LT230?

Like the title says has anyone upgraded from this chain driven POS to a LT230? any problems?

I haven't done the swap but there was a thread recently on Pirates 4x4 where the person doing the swap ran into problems that, while not insurmountable, did present some unforseen difficulties. I think the problem centered around the ZF's output shaft but I'm not sure You should search for the discussion.

If you do choose to undertake the swap I have the majority of the parts ranging from an LT230 out of a '96 Disco to a center console out of an '88 RRC. I also have the front prop shaft that you'll need as the one for the BW will not work. Let me know if I can be of help.

funny you were the one who replied, I just replied to your for sale ad, If I buy a few of these parts can you make me a deal on them? I have an adapter to put a Tundra V8 into Land cruisers and I utilize the LT 230 to do this because of its part time capability and gear choices, so I am stocking up on these.
