Surely you cannot be unaware that the US provides a major part of the weaponry to the world, even to the enemies it sends its soldiers to fight. It is an important export industry.

One of the international legal criteria of that industry is that a weapon be classified as "used"...so someone has to make that so. I guess you can say that France "drops" their weapons, as does Russia, the UK and most of all, the US. Are you fellas that sheltered from how it all works and who is doing it? When inventories build up too much, a war happens...preferably a long drawn-out police action.

I am unfamiliar with the psyche of those who feel themselves alone and threatened. However, I do know something about France. It was the only country in the world that sent money, ships and men to die for the American Revolution. In fact, the very symbol of America, the Statue of Liberty, was made in France as a gift from the French people to the American people. If you want to denigrate Frenchmen, demean them, lie about them..be my guest! Your remarks are funny and say so much about you. May I pass them around?

James,

Relax, it's called a joke. There are too many uptight people in this world. If people would just laugh at themselves a little. Hell I didn't even make that joke up. But if you feel it necessary to tell us how actual weapons sales go... ok. If it makes you feel better I can make jokes about others too, not just the french. Would the French Canadians count Lighten up, it's not the end of the world because we don't agree on using Lucas Oil. Have a good day

Look how civil I am

I wasn't offended. I was enjoying it. After all, who do you think the French joke constantly about.

Army, of course I would like a Diesel it would be a dream, but I don't think it's cost effective for me right now. He has an old diesel engine, but it's a 4 cylinder it would be to slow for the RRC.
Hey, my LR Mechanic told me not to use the Lucas Tranny Fix, he doesn't like it.

Is your RRC fast now? lol. I would love to do it to but like I said before cost would suck.

On the drive to work today I still noted no difference in the shifting of the tranny. No improvement or degradation of shifting. I did do .3 mpg better according to the trip computer though I think the traffic was lighter today, lol.

Lucas

Here is the site and has all the info you need (spec sheets and etc). I have added the 80/90 gear oil to my front and rear diff's. Everyone has there fav's...like beer! I use the Lucas products as more of a preventative measure then to fix something.

with a couple of hundred miles on the lucas trans additive I have noticed no difference in shifting at this point. Mileage is up 4 tenths of a mpg, I attribute that to the tune up though.

So in my application with this no better no worse.

i put that in mine because i get a hard/abrupt jump into reverse. the stuff is super thick!!! I noticed it seemed to jump even More Abruptly with the Lucas additive. when i drained it and refilled it next time i have found it shifts softer and less abrupt/jumpy once the oil has warmed up and is thinner. so i think the product is targeted at fixing transmission slips, if this is your problem i know it works for that because i used it in my moms explorer and it did the trick, but with my rangie , the problem was not a slip , but a jumpy shift into reverse... and the lucas made that problem worse.

My LR Mechanic said not to use it. He thinks it's to thick.
