Cool Heart Breaker

STARTING APRIL ONE, CLASSIC PARTS ARE GOING TO BE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM THE DEALER, WHAT A BUMMER, FIFTEEN DEALERS ACROSS THE U.S. ARE GOING TO BE ALBE TO IMPORT THEM, WITH LOWER COSTS TO THE CUSTOMER THEN THEY WERE IN THE PAST, KINDA CUTTING OUT THE MIDDLE GUYS IN THE PARTS DEPOTS HERE IN THE US, I M NOT SURE OF THE OTHER DEALERS BUT LAND ROVER ROCKVILLE IS SIGNED UP TO BECOME A "CLASSIC" PARTS DEALER, I REALIZE THAT MANY OF YOU MAY GET LOTS OF PARTS FROM OTHER SOURCES, AS DO I, BECUASE DEALER COSTS ARE BRUTAL, I JUST THOUGH I WOULD LET YOU GUYS KNOW! HAPPY ROVERING C-YA!

I always look here first for parts:

http://www.rangerovers.net/rrpartsv.htm

I did need to go to dealer once for seat belt buckel, the female portion. Front drivers side was $81 for one without seatbelt warning light wires.

The one with a little switch and connectors was $291 as I recall. (And I thought the $81 was alot.)

Maybe they will start charging $5-10 just to approach the parts counter or charge by the word.

I got a mailing from Rovers North last month with a big article on the fact they WILL BE a source for classic parts. Not just dealers.
