Heated Seats - '95 LWB - Land Rovers Only

Now that the wife is using the RR as her daily driver, she'd like the heated seats to toast her buns as she drives... Both seats don't warm up.

The switches light up so power is getting that far, fuses in the panel are good. I've read about taking the seat apart to replace the pads but only found references to the Disco or later style seats.

Are there common fault points outside of replacing the element itself?
Seems like removing the seat itself is pretty easy (4 allen bolts) but is it necessary to separate the lower cushion from the top? (I suspect it's usually the lower pad that fails, not the top one, correct?)
What's a good source for the heater elements?

A buddy of mine and I did a quick fix following the below link. took us 10 per 1995 classic. works great.

I did this today, and it turned out great!!! The only thing is, you have to turn it off once it gets to your desired temp.

I also own a...uhmm....(whisper) Jeep Wrangler...so I get the 4wd Hardware catalog (Jeep stuff). In said catalog are some universal seat heaters for $99...check em out. WarmSeatsâ„¢ Carbon Fiber Seat Heater and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware

This is what I'm going to do.
