help!! cannot move lever.... - Land Rovers Only

hey i was wondering if this has happened to anyone, my93 classic iam unable to shift lever into low range or into neutral. high range works fine. is this just a linkage issue or worse????? please help a worried owner!

seized linkage, for these simptoms the dr. recomends the use of large amounts of lubricant followed by the back and forth movement of the lever until unstuck, once achieved move lever to its different positions at least once a month.
if the lube does not work, surgery may be the only other solution, you either remove the center console and all is things to gain better aproach at the linkage, dissasemble clean and reasemble with anti seize compound, attempt to do the same from under the truck
or have a shop do it for you.

iwill be looking at linkage today, you've put my mind at ease, i was thinking it was a linkage issue-so you've backed me up! now to pull the centre console apart.
