Default Help: Range Rover Classic Height???

Hello, I am new to the forum, I am avid off roader moving from the Full Size Buggy market to a Land Rover. I have moved towns and houses and now have to abide by a HOA. Anyway, I currently am in the process of build a house w/ a 3 car garage and am looking to purchase a Range Rover Classic to fill my off road needs and the 3rd spot. But, I need to figure out if I can fit one in the garage. I have 82" of height between the top lip of the concrete and my garge door top/opening. Can anyone tell me the height of their stock and slightly lifted RRCs? I am really just trying to stay under 82"s with a 3" lift and some bigger tires.

Thanks

Lenny

My 1992 RR1 3" lifted, 33" tired was under 7' with a roof rack and spare up top.

Go for it!

1780mm or 70.08 inches ... so you can definitely throw a 3" and 33s on there... just dont try to put a roof rack w/ tire on the top of it..

Welcome to the world of Rovers.. your HOA is going to hate you in a couple years when you have a fleet of broken rovers all over

Every P38 I've wheeled with has been evil.... possibly possessed. The resale is low for a reason!

RR1 or RRC. (I don't have large headed friends to use the bubble in the rear of a Disco, hahhahhaah FLAME SUIT ON)

Having recently built a house I wish I would have had the garage opening increased by one additional standard garage door panel.

Well I wish I had the option to go higher but it sucks I don't. I did however have two drains installed and hooked into our sewer lines so that any water in the garage drains out, I'm also toying with the idea of causing a slight drop on the driveway into the garage and adding a few more inches, once inside I have 10' celings which will allow for the lift. I'll keep my eyes open for a RRC then and see what we come up with.
