Am working on a project to herculiner the floor. Currently trying to get the center tunnel carpet out without damaging it - may want to use it. Looks like I will have to remove lower half of dashboard to get it out, but cannot seem to get it to come out. I have already completely removed the interior from the dashboard back. Have removed the plastic piece which surrounds the radio. Have removed the dashboard wood. Trying now to remove the plastic which surrounds the AC control panel, the cruise/fog lights/demist switch pack and the fuse panel. this plastic is Extremely brittle and already has some bad cracks in it so I'm trying not to force it. It appears to be attached somehow in back although I can't find any screws holding it in place. Anyone know? Do I have to remove the entire dashboard assembly? Thanks

I've removed the carpet and the dash and wrote about it on my site.
