Hey so i was surfing the internet for things for my 95 RRC LDUB, i came across hub adapters so that you can put 18" alloys on a rrc, I think it would look really good with the disco 18" silver alloys like these. What do you think and is this the purpose of these hub adapters? i also wanted to add spacers.

You can put 18" rims on a RRC without adaptors. If they have the right bolt pattern. The adaptors and I'm guessing since there isn't a link to look them over are a spacer that changes the bolt pattern down to the smaller pattern of the Disco2/p38.

1. Cost, holy hell bat man that's $675.96 for those adaptors plus shipping form the UK. 2. How much of a positive offset are you going to end up with? i.e. based on how thick they are, how much are they pushing the rims out of the fender wells? How much added stress is this going to place on the axles/cv's? You also mention spacers if your thinking spacers and these adaptors you might want to consider finding a way to dummy cord your rims and tires to the truck so when they snap off and roll away they don't go as far ![]() 3. Intended use, if your mall crawling with it, those are fine I'm sure. If you intend to go off road I wouldn't run them.

Hahaha that first one and last had me laughin
, damn i didnt look at the price but will the hub adapters make the wheels stick out farther? i only want a little bit farther, no far enough where they rub the fenders, i just dont like how far in they are, but i think with those disco rims and the hub adapters ill have a wider track because those wheels are deeper i think. My rrc is my daily driver and i will do a little off roading with it, im not gonna get big bling rims (even though ive got bling in my name, hamBLING) i just like the disco ones a lot. |

I would email the company that makes the adaptors and find out how much offset they add.

Spacers are fine, you just need to keep them tight. The D-90 Source - wheel spacers or just new rims? |

Cellular none as in the added stress or none as in no additional offset?

No added stress. Well, no substantial added stress. Especially if he's just doin' the mall crawl thing
![]() I don't know what the backspacing is like on the Disco II wheels. No idea if he'd come out with a wider backspacing. |

Would I wheel with them no I have enough things working against me on my rover without adding shit lol. I'm sure you could do light to medium wheeling though with no issues as long as you check the spacers regularly to insure they are not loosening up on you.
For sticking out further it depends on the back spacing of the disco rims and how thick the adaptors are.

Probably. It's not for me but to each their own. I prefer the old 3 spokes in 16 with a ton of off road tire options
