Default I mdae a mess today, cleaning up previous owners mess

decided to undo a bunch of the accessory wiring that previous owners had done to the rover.

I was able to pull all of this out:

and I had to take the entire dash apart to get it done. still have some more useless wires to trace and remove:

I think it is gonna take me a little while to get this all back together.

I also got my sliders cleaned up and painted. hope to get them installed soon.

i have recently gone through most of this wiring as i redid my interior and pulled out old stereo wiring. right now i still have some of the wiring exposed before i put the stereo head unit panel and center console/cubby box back in. so if you have any specific questions before i get it buttoned up let me know and I'll see if I can't help.

thanks. all of the stuff I pulled out was for exterior lights. I wanted all that out before I wired up my old ones. there does seem to be an extra set of speaker hookups back there. I plan to trace them and see where they go before yanking them out.

the mess looks worse than it really is. all the relays and switches have a lot of wires, but I hooked everthing back together after pulling the dash out. that way I will be able to keep track of how everything comes together.
