Default i need some help with some new tires

My 90 RRC is in need of new tires soon. What are your opinions on retreaded tires? I drive alot about 200-250 miles a week. I would love to do some off roading but central florida doesnt have much to offer.

I definately want a more aggressive tread so i figured some A/T tires would suffice(i like the BF G's)

i found these for $305 shipped plus tax
http://www.high-tec-retreading.com/sizes.html (the A/T tires)
what do you guys think?

another thing is i would like to go a little bit wider b/c i think my wheels' offset are sunken in the wheelwell too much, i would like them to stick out a tad bit more, not a lot.
i dont really plan on a lift, i just wanna get some new shocks.

my tires now are 245-70-16 (or245-75-16), would i be good with 255-70-16 on stock axles and no body trimming?

I love my Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2's.
Gonna buy them as long as they make them.

if u put in 255's u will need to trim especially without a lift. i would say keep the 245's . high tech retreading is a reputable place but onve u add mounting and balanving it generally comes up to $400 odd any ways.
what i would do is find a cheap mom and pap tire shopin your local vacinity,or a place which sells generic thires .. something like the remeington brute.which is the same as bridgestones... they are about $100 a tire installed in central ca. atleast roverX got them...

i would even think going for a 235-85-16
it is a slimmer and taller tire, it will give u better gas milage tooo.

And dude dont knock the wheeling in Fl if you dont wheel. there is LOTS of good offroading in FL, it is just deep water, mud and lots of trees to hit! Gordo

Through experience I will have to disagree you can fit 255/70/16s on no problem without trimming I fitted them on my 84 RR classic for 4 years with no problems but 235/85/16 is much much taller and will not fit without a 2" lift kit.
