ignition coil ticking?! - Land Rovers Only

Yo guys! My check engine light came on the other day so i looked at the diagnostic display on my 95 range LWB. It reads #40,which is a miss firing problem, Right??
I also notice some not so smooth reving up of the rpms under acelleration now.
Theres definatley a ticking sound coming from my ignition coil,like its arching over to something.New spark plugs,wires,and distributor as well.

Any advice from u long time rover owners would be great!

Slide back the rubber boot that covers the high output lead going into the coil and you should see where it is arching. If not, wait until it gets dark
