Default Installing OME lift, need help/tips

I'm halfway done installing my OME lift, ive got the rears done, im onto the fronts now. Im in the middle of removing the front shocks/springs. ive undone the top two self locking nuts for the struts by airgun, now im onto the lowers. i cant get anything but a 19mm box wrench in there. ive searched and ive tried using channel locks on the lower portion to prevent it from rotating while i break the nut loose, but it just keeps slipping off and eat chunks away from the bottom. ive soaked these nuts in PB every night for the past few nights and they still wont break.

any other tips to get these off? once these are off itll be cake to finish the rest.

personally, I would get the springs to unseat and lift it an inch or two off the bottom spring pearch. then just take a no B.S. sawzall and cut the bottom of the shock off right at the stud. Re-using old dead shocks isn't a great idea....
