it just wont start

Hi to you all i am new to this site and am after some help please
I have a1994 range rover vogue se 3.9 efi not long had this rangie ,Now when i got it it was running fine but had a leak on the manifold gasket and a blowing exhaust so i have put new gaskits on and new exhaust on (from the cat backwards) On the first start up it ran but had a misfire and a lack of power ? gave up for the night the next day i was un able to start the old girl . I have since checked all plugs HT leads dizzy and coil and timing and all are in good order fuel is getting through ok aswell but still will not start has anybody got any ideas as what to look at next ??

i have seen and had problems when sealing up exhaust that was previously restricted / plugged and after sealing it up having missfire codes, lack of power and a hard to start condition. my 2000 d-2 currently has a plugged right side cat, runs like a champ with the manifold to pipe bolts backed off (leaking) but runs like poop and sets missfire codes when sealed up. may or may not be your condition but if the engine cant breath it will be prone to fouling and possibly flooding, if you are confident you have good spark, proper timing and fuel supply, i would pull plugs and evaluate if they are wet / fouled. annother thing to check is the oil condition and level. if its badly flooded the oil will smell "gassy" and the level may even be higher. if it is flooded badly, remove all plugs and replace or dry with a flame (small propane torch works well, even a pocket cigarette lighter will do in a pinch) change the oil and retry.
