Default Key stuck in ignition

Hey, I have a 94 classic with the key stuck in the ignition. It still works fine but will not come out when switched in the off position. It's draining my battery, when I dissconnect the battery the key releases from the ignition. Anyone know where the relay for the interlock solenoid is located? Thanks for the help.

Is this your normal key ?, or was it a spare that was cut, and never used before ?
Sometimes keycutters cut a key on the wrong blank ie too short.
As the key needs to be pushed in to remove it on the last part of the rotation, the key wont if too short. The only way to remove it , is to get some cutters and cut the sides of the head off, to allow the key to be pushed in.

Try this, it worked for me.

If your key gets stuck in the ignition, do this

It's under the Tech/DYI section on the forum if the link dosn't work. I actually got tired of it and just zip tied it in the up "unlocked" position.

I had the same problem with my RR. In my case, it was a failure of the "park" postion switch. I removed my steering colomn cover and cutted a purple wire near the ignition swith and it solved my problem.
