Default Motor has coolant in oil

Getting ready to get the RRC back on the road. The motor I purchased has (or so I was told by Specialized British) 160 plus compression all the way around. I pulled the oil pan to clean out any sludge and a small amount of coolant was in the oil and the oil that was left was a bit milky and VERY sludgy. I'm guessing I can just do the head gaskets, would you all agree? What else should I do with out getting too deep into the motor while I have it out. BTW, the rear main bearing and crank both looked good and smooth under a loop.

Thanks!

I do hope it's just the head gaskets, which it may well be. They're famous for causing trouble.

However, let's hope it's not this:-

Best of luck

While you'r there, have it all apart, take a look at the liners, the do tend to slip down. My ex-'94 did that, had to have the block re-lined at a cost of $1,000.

Liners look good. I am going to put in new cam, lifters, timing chain and gears while I have it apart.
