Its about 100F here - took my 95RRCLWB out to a few stores, stopped motor, went in came out, etc. At the 4th stop, I put the key in the ignition - radio came on, dash and all BUT starter did not crank over. I walked around in the store for a 1/2 hour and came out and it started and got me home. Ideas? Sounds to me like the starter may be going bad? Mileage 160K BTW.
I need to go on a 6hr trip soon and dont want any issues. |

I bet you need one of these:
AMPLIFIER MODULE RELOCATION KIT | Land Rover Engine Parts at RoverParts.com I've heard that if the amplifier module gets too hot your truck won't start until it cools off. Amazingly enough my truck hasn't experienced this yet, but it seems to be fairly common. If it happens again pour some water on it to cool it off and see if that helps.
