Question need help with drivers window in 97 RR

Hi all,
I'm glad i found this site. Well here's my problem. I have a 1997 range rover 4.0 se. the other day someone tried to break in, and since then my drivers door window will not roll down and the radio will not play out of that door.
Luckily, i have an extra 1996 range rover, so i have verified that the window regulator, window motor, all switches, the driver's door outstation and the wiring harness from door jam into door works. I have checked fuses none blown. I have now been chasing down the wiring, and no real luck. I do not have a owners manual, to find all relay connections. Any and all comments welcomed. Thank you.

First off, you have a Gen 2 RR or P38...it's the next forum down from this one. RR classics stop at 1995.

Second, Go here for a free manual download: The Green Oval - Downloads | Land Rover Data
You need CD #2

Third, regarding your window...I'd look at the areas that were messed with by the punk that tried to break in...sounds like possibly a wiring issue, fuse, etc. Do you have power to the switch?...to the window motor?

Thanks for the link, in process of downloading now.
I do have power to the switch, all other windows, and sunroof are working.
and i have power in the door. The drivers door lock still activates all of the rest. But i did find that the ac has been leaking on the drivers side. i have noticed that all four plug in connectors located in the drivers kick panel have some green corrosion in them from this leaking. so i wondering if its a ground issue.
Oh and i 'll post it on the newer models as well thanks

Yeah, I have the window working, along with door speaker. The problem was NOT in the door. I finally started to inspect the wiring in the vehicle. And there it was, even more corrosion in the wiring harness below the drivers door. Found a positive wire that was extremely bad. It still showed up as low voltage on a meter. i found a small break there and replaced a section of wire and problem solved. Not i gotta go back and replace more bad wire.
