Default New member,Good buy?1991 rrc

Hello everyone!,I recently stumbled upon this thread looking for rrc forums.I have many questions that I hope can be answered, and maybe some advice?
Ok first off found a 1991 black rrc on craigslist for 1400.just checked it out yesterday, and fell in love.I am very familiar with land rovers,my mom had an 06 range rover sport, and My dad has an 05 disco,so I know about reliability issues, but I feel this is different

The car runs amazingly, very good engine, and trans, pretty good cosmetically, but there are some wear and tear.Such as sunroof dosen't wok, driver door dosen't work, driver window dosen't work, something with the brake lights 1'1/2 work, and also the steering feels loose, but other than that I love it.
the car was purchased new in 91 from newport beach land rover by the second owners mother, and then passed on to him,California all its life,so no rust
as of now I have a 1996 volvo 850 and have had NO issues at all,so I may be in over my head
what do you guys think?
thanks in advance!

Lets not forget an abundant amount of oil on hand . The 91's self administered anti corrosion system s very effective , however you do need to top the oils up.

Good luck with the project

don't forget to factor in annual gas expenses from a leaky gas line!
