Default new shoes!

I picked up a complete set of 245/75 MT's. Got a great deal on a set of 5 that I couldn't pass up. I am now looking at another great deal for D90 style alloy wheels.
I now have the option to buy the D90 wheels, mount the MT's and sell my stock wheel and tire combo.
I wanted to ask my fellow RRC owners for opinions. Please post pics is possible. Hopefully you can show me pics with MT's, not stock tires.

Thanks.

stock setup....changing to 3" springs very soon......

keep the stock alloys, they are already painted body color.

245/75 don't require 3" springs, they may look small.

They are 30.46", I ran a similar size 235/85 MT/R 31.73 with OME MD and Bilstein shocks after stripping out the EAS.

I'll post up a photo just to give a sense of ride height and lift. First is lift & 225/75 (29.28"), Second & Third lift 235/85.

Buckshot's, nice!

Keep the stock wheels, they will look nice on there with those tires.

Nice pics Todd!

Badger, the tires really look great. I can't wait to test them out. As far as the wheels go, well, looks at Todd's (Thor) pics above. Silver LR rims just look so sexy on a classic. That's why I'm hoping more people post up pics.........get a better idea.

Here are a few shots of mine with the D90 style wheel. Some are with 235/85 and the others with 285/75s.

Here ya go.....245/75/R16's Goodyear MTRs on factory alloys....no lift - very minor rubbing on rear. I now have a "CB" 2" lift that I finished last weekend, but its too nasty weather to get a pic - I think it looks pretty balanced with the 2" lift - and I measured before and after and got a full 2" and the springs were used, so I don't expect any quick settling. I'll post a post lift picture later.

Here's some pics before the lift...

What's a "CB" lift?

I have 265/75/16 on a non-lifted 95 RRC. Love em so far. There are some pics in the show-off area...I'll try to get some decent ones when the sun comes out.

Ha ha, CB = Cheap Bastard. 2" spacers on the rear and I was given a pair of rear D1 springs (free), those went in the front, gave a a full 2" up front. So 2" lift for < $100. The jury is still out on how well it will perform off road though.
