Default New speakers for a 95 LWB, It's different

I'm looking for replacement speakers for a 95lwb. I called crutchfield and their lost, so I'm coming to the experts. The 95lwb has post mounted tweeters and two speakers in each door. I assume a mid range and a woofer. The sub woofer is in the back.

I want to replace the two door speakers with after market quality units. If I was to replace each with a two way, how do I wire it as i will have 4 wires and 2 places on the new speaker to connect.

What have you guys done?

If you saw this on the RN board,,,sorry bout my shotgun approach.

thanks geneo

hi, u should go to crutchfields website and then u can enter your RRC to fit section, then they give u all the brand that will fit. speckers r straight forward. i think they are the same as my '93 LWB 5.25". i had a thread about it that might help u out (below). u can get packages that have tweeters and speckers.

RRC '93 LWB speaker question!

The woofer in the door is directly wired to the subs in the back. The other midrange speaker is wired to the tweeter. Welcome to the wacky world of 95 RRc's!

Crutchfield is lost when it comes to the 95 RRC. I have a 95 SWB with an HK system. I believe the speakers are:
-tweeters in 'A' pillars
-3.5 inch midrange and 6.75 inch midbass in front doors
-4 inch two-way speakers above upper tailgate
-subwoofer in back above right rear wheel

Did all 95 RRCs come with HK systems? Does the LWB have the same?

Yeah the LWB's have the same HK systems. Those 6.75 speakers are wired together with the subs.
