Default New User / 95 RRC LWB

I just picked up a 95 RRC LWB
118k / no air, has springs.

I'm in the process of fixing her up.
1995 Land Rover Range Rover Classic LWB

I have a close friend thats been into disco 1's and rrc for about 10 years now.. hes real active on discoweb. So im glad to have some knowledge support.

about me:
28 / married with 3 kids, hobbies include guns, vintage rc's (rc10's), used to tinker with vw turbo cars.

Great site here.. thanks for all the info you have provided me already.

looking at this picture

It seems like the tailgate hinge is bolted to a piece under this rusted piece.
Do u think i will be able to cut out this top piece (if possible) and just replace it.. or am i looking at replacing a whole rear cross member piece?

It's a separate piece. Not sure but I think it's called the "rubber seal mounting flange". Was just looking at this page cause I will have to replace my rear crossmember in the near future.

Oh .... welcome
