omg tranny
Hi everyone, ive owned my 98 4.0 for about a month now, and within that month ive already spent 5k on a new tranny, transfer case, and front drive shaft. Now that thats in the range doesnt want to go faster than 15mph i just dont understand. I took it to a car electrical shop and they told me i need a new ecu. But it still starts but idles ruff, and has an gear box fault that just popped up tonight. Anyone ever had anything similar to this happen. Basically im just wondering if it sounds like i need a new ECU?
