Default Original tires for 95' LWB

Does anyone know if these are the orginal Michelins were for the 95' LWB

205/80R-16 104T XL

If these original Michelins are still available where would I be able to buy a set? I've heard they are discontinued but wanted to be sure before I go for another tire.

Thanks

I have one spare on sale on eBay. You might want to post on Dweb, RN and other BBS about purchasing stock RR spare tires. Also, check out some tire shops to see if they have any customers that replaced all 5 tires on their RRs, they might have the spares for sale. That's what I did when I was looking for stock D90 tires, picked up 5 tires that were spares.. good luck.

Yeah that's the closest.
On tire rack this is the result of what is available.

These are what I bought.
And I couldn't be happier.

I recently got a set of Pirelli Scorpion 205 80 16 from Rovers North. I'm not sure if they are still on sale, but if they are it's a screaming deal!

Pretty sure that Michelin was the original tire for the North American market. 205/80/16 is the original size and hard to find in the US, but there are many other sizes you can buy that are close. You really don't have to run that exact size and it really wan't even a great wearing tire. There are better alternatives out there.
That said, I also have a set of Pirelli Scorpian tires in that 205 size currently sitting in my garage with fewer than 10K miles on them if you're looking for a set. I have the original Michelin spare that came with my vehicle as well and would be willing to sell them all pretty cheap.

Regards,
Art Vigil

First off, it's funny how we have the same exact tire and almost the same exact rover (off by one year, mines a 94 LWB). Anyways, I would get something more common, like some 265's. When I get a job and some money saved (like that'll happen), I plan to lift my RRC 3" and put some Bigger Michelin LTX's Mud+Snow. Or something of better value.

Well, I ended up getting 4 Toyo Open Country AT's 255/65/16. They were a little bigger than the 208/80/16 and they have nice tread on them. Thanks for everyone's help and advice.

Funny thing is I bought that damn tire from John C. Didnt even know it at the time. Damn nice tire. I had one new spare and found two other new spares from club members. Johns PERFECT one was exactly what I needed. Sorry man, but just so you know they look awesome on my BONE stock 92. I even got a slightly worn one for my spare. Even better was I only had to buy one of them. Gordo.

No worries Gordo. The Toyo's are treating me fine so far. The tread is pretty beefy - hopefully they will last me as long as those XPC's.
