Default Passenger side wiper doesn't work

The passenger side wiper quit working, and I'm wondering if it is just a tension rod that came loose from the driver side, because that is where the motor is located, right??

It is totally loose and I can move it all the way to the drivers side of the windshield.

Has anybody else dealt with this??? Is there a sollution?? I know the motor and mechanism is located under the panel behind the hood, I'm just not quite sure how and where.

Thanks

For what it's worth, here are two photos of what your wiper assembly looks like under the cowl. You might be able to get an idea of what has come undone from taking a look.
