Guys I tried a few searches and had trouble finding so please excuse me if these questions are already answered somewhere. If anyone can point me to a thread to read I'd be obliged.
I am installing an ARB bull bar and Warn XD9000. Have 2 questions. 1. On the bull bar itself, having some trouble getting it to mount exactly - if the holes are all lined up on the right side, they wont line up properly on the left. they are off by a tiny bit, but enough that th bolts are very tough to get in. Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal, and is there a way to get the bolts in a sequence to get around this? 2. on mounting the XD9000. I got some blocks of metal that look like billet aluminum spacers with the ARB bull bar. The instructions say that on a 9000 lb winch i would need to use spacers to move the winch back 8 mm. OK trouble with that is 1) the spacers are not 8 mm thick, so i'm wondering if i'm missing pieces, and 2) if i used these spacers the mounting screws would not be long enough to even reach the nuts, muck less thread them. Has anyone already resovled this? Thanks Pat Herman

I have an ARB on a 91 RR and I still don't have the holes all lined up!
I think it just takes alot of trial and error... Not sure about your winch...

Thanks. Got ARB support on the phone today and they said, yeah the factory tolerances were just not not what they are today, so unless I see the bull bar is just bent out of alignment, i'm going to need to drill out the arb's holes just a little bit to accomodate, and as long as the holes in the frame are not bigger than 1/2 inch it won't wobble.
