Ive been watching this video over and over and over again for a few years. By the best sound I've ever heard coming out of a Classic.

My LWB has a 4.2 in it and it sounds pretty much like that, mostly due to the fact that I replaced the stock muffler with a standard glass pack, hacked the rear tail pipe resonator and replaced with a curved 90 degree bend with a tail pipe tip so it faces completely out the driver's side of the truck at the rear.....and I found out that both of my cats have blown out on their own. I get that kinda sound out of just that.

The cats I wasn't responsible for....at least I don't think I was. LOL

yeah both of those sound so sickkkk!! I want that so bad. I just found a borla cat back in my area that I think Im gonna jump on, I currently have the bolts a little lose so some exhaust makes it out before it hits the first muffler, it sounds pretty bad ass but isnt good for the engine.

I don't see why you shouldn't pass emissions....however I knew a guy back in college who lived outta PA and from what he told me, emissions and inspections were a big deal out there....i.e. the tail pipe had to leave the rear bumper or be past the cab of a pick-up, or unless that was how the vehilce was manufactured like an Ford SVT Lightning pick-up...it had side pipes.

I don't know what your guys' standards are out there, I would look into it before I start hacking and fabbing.

Out here in MI at least we don't have very strong stipulations about emissions and inspections...at least not on cars and small trucks. Semi trucks, and straight trucks....DOT is all over them these days.

Agreed.
That ain't a stock Rover V8 motor. I don't care what brand muffler you put on there a stock Rover V8 won't sound like that. And was that a 4-tire-chirp in the beginning? Sweet. I dream of that kind of power in my RRC.
